For more than 25 years, the American Cancer Society Heroes of the Year Luncheon has convened New York’s philanthropic leaders, who are invested in their community’s health and the future of scientific breakthroughs and cancer research. Each year, the Luncheon recognizes individuals who have distinguished themselves with their ability to balance careers, social obligations, philanthropic endeavors, and family. Since its inception, the Luncheon has supported the American Cancer Society’s mission to end cancer as we know it, for everyone – and has raised more than $6.5 million for the American Cancer Society’s patient programs and research.
